How to make Simple Poori's

Fed up of having that same old bread with your awesome gravies? well, here's a simple dish that'll help you enjoy those gravies just the way you like it!!!



INGREDIENTS
1) Wheat flour
2) Semolina (rava/rawa)
3) Water
4) Salt
5) Curd (optional)
6) Cooking oil

PROCEDURE

1) Mix Wheat flour and semolina in a bowl in a ratio of 4:3 ie. in four parts of wheat flour add 3 parts of semolina/rawa.

2) Add a pinch of salt and water and knead the dough until its ply able. make sure you don't add too much of water as it will make the dough sticky and difficult to work with.

[optional] You can also add a little bit of curd in the above process.

3) Keep the dough aside for about 15 minutes. Then by taking small parts at a time make balls of this dough.

4) On your kitchen desk sprinkle a little wheat flour and roll out the ball into a round chapati

5) With a cookie cutter cut out shapes of this chapati (preferably round).

6) In a deep fryer pour some cooking oil and let it heat for some time. Put the cut out poori's in the oil and fry until they are fluffy and crispy and have a slight golden brown color. Remove access oil and serve hot alongside your favorite gravies!!!

There you have it Simple yet tasty and crispy poori's !!!!
